考试指导：怎样做好中考改错题
一、先阅读全句，理解全句的意思。
二、再看每句给出的A、B、C、D四个选项，选出可能错的地方，注意每道改错题只有一个选项是错误的，因此在答题时，要考虑这道题主要考查什么语法内容，有针对性地选择答案。
三、在选择及改正时要综合运用所学的词汇、习惯用法、句型和语法知识，使整个句子用词恰当，语法正确。
例题1．Most of the work in these factories are done by the machines.

在做题时，要看清主语是可数名词，还是不可数名词，可数名词是单数还是复数形式来确定谓语动词，常见的不可数名词有: news, homework, knowledge, money, food(bread, meat...) fire, weather, hair,medicine, noise, population, milk等。不可数名词作主语时，谓语动词必须用第三人称单数形式。同时，一些主语结构要注意主谓一致的主要还有一些：
1.Neither of ... / Either of ...：谓语动词必须用单数形式
2.Neither A nor B ... / Either A or B ... ：邻近原则，根据主语B来确定谓语动词
3.Both A and B ... / Both of ... ：谓语动词用复数
4.Tom, together with ... / All the boys except Jim ... ：介宾短语在句中不能作主语，谓语动词应根据前面的主语而定
5.Jim and Kates...：谓语动词应根据名词所有格后的名词单数来确定。
6.Everyone in our class...：不定代词something,anything,somebody no one等都看作单数形式
7.Twenty years...：时间、金钱、距离体积、重量、面积、数字等词语作主语时，若指总量应看作单数；若其意义是指有多少数量则应该看作是复数。
8.The whole family... 作为整体是单数，作为家庭中一个个成员时是复数，谓语动词根据具体而定。
9.The Browns/The Brown family某人一家看作复数，谓语动词用复数。
10.A group of students... 谓语动词用复数。
11.This pair of shoes...这儿应根据pair的单复数来确定谓语动词
