BEIJING, April 22 -- China claimed two more gold medals on the final day of FINA Artistic Swimming World Series Beijing leg while Uzbekistan took the highlight champion here on Sunday.
China swept 7 gold medals while Uzbekistan took 2 titles and Slovakia 1 during the three-day competition.
Jiang sisters imitated the Swans in the water and showed their power and beauty of legs in the duets free routine, winning 92.8000.
"Our legs were shaky after the free routine which is much difficult than the technical routine. We are planning to compete all the stops of FINA World Series and challenge our strength limit. We hope we can do better and better," said Wenwen.
"As 32-year-old women swimmers, the strength is the most challenging part for us. But on the same time, we enjoy the process of improving and competition," Tingting added.
Austrian sisters Anna-Maria Alexandri/Eirini Alexandri took the silver medals in 86.8000 and Anita Alvarez/Ruby Remati of the United States came third at 82.9667.
16-year-old pair Shi Haoyu/Zhang Yihao celebrated their second title in the mixed duets free routine with 77.8667.
"We are preparing for the World Junior Artistic Swimming Championships to be held in Budapest this summer. We need to compete in more events to get more experience," Shi Haoyu said.
Uzbekistan sealed the last gold medal on offer in the highlight for a total of 79.1333 and team Slovakia finished second 76.5000.
